President Rodrigo Duterte knows that the pay in the military and police is so small that they can be vulnerable to corruption. That is why Duterte has urged them to go directly to him if ever they find themselves in a financial hole. I will look for the money,” said Duterte. Duterte said he has maintained personal ties with the police and military during his days as Davao City mayor and he intended to do the same on a national scale. “They (military and police) would run to me yung mga problema nila. Duterte said the stability of the government depended on the integrity and loyalty of its security forces. “I cannot run with a corrupt police and the corrupt military. Kaya kayong mga pulis na andiyan sa droga, you make a choice. Resign, and do not wait for my action, nakikiusap ako sa inyo,” said Duterte.
